Let’s get creative and make some art! Each week we’ll explore new materials and ideas, while learning about art from different cultures and time periods of art history. Topics will include southwest Native American pottery, Chinese brush painting, African andrinka cloth, Guatamalan worry dolls, American folk art and more. - For 7–10 yrs: Anime and Manga
- Learn the basic techniques in drawing anime and manga characters and create your own in the process. Julie Ziah. #703

- For 7–10 yrs: Wire Sculpture.
- We will turn 2:d drawings into 3-d works of art. Julie Ziah. #705
October 4
- For 7–10 yrs: Sunflowers
- Sunflowers. Look at sunflowers painted by famous artists. Then draw and paint your own in pastel and acrylic paint on canvas board while looking at real sunflowers. Jane Noble. #709

- For 7–10 yrs: Fall Printmaking
- Explore the colors of the fall through various printmaking project including printed leaves, foam block prints and more. Julie Ziah. #711

- For 7–10 yrs: Art in the Dark
- We will explore the night time landscape, things that go bump in the night, and other nocturnal things. You can also try glo-in-the-dark paint and tape. Julie Ziah. #715

- For 7–10 yrs: Artist’s Books.
- Learn how to bind and create your own book. We’ll create books that will be great for sketchbooks, photo albums, journals, or whatever you can imaging. Julie Ziah. #717

- Develop your photographic talent and make the most of your digital camera. Please bring a camera to class. Julie Ziah. #721

- For 7–10 yrs: Fall Still Life Painting
- Make a fall still life drawing and painting working from a still life arrangement of fall fruits and vegetables. We will draw with pastels and paint on canvas board using easels and acrylic paint. Jane Noble. #723

- Create handmade gifts to give to family and friends. We will also decorate wrapping paper. Julie Ziah. #727
