Preschool
45-minute classes, Saturday mornings, June 20—August 26, $10.00 per class.  Please register in advance each week. Recieve a 10% discount if you register for four or more weeks!

This is a delightful first studio art class for toddlers (and their care-givers) that nurtures children's wonderment and curiosity with a hands-on introduction to a variety of materials and media. Please bring a snack for the break, if you are staying for Music and Movement.

Listen, move and make music! Songs, dances, rhythm instruments, puppets (and a little yoga!) all contribute to making a joyful sound.

Get a taste of medieval life in this exciting class. You will draw, paint and create 3-D art relating to the lives of knights, mysterious castles and fantastic dragons!

Real or imagined pets will be the subject of portraiture in a variety of media. You will also make some pet gifts including decorating a treat or food jar.

Create beads out of sculpey clay, rolled paper and other materials. Then use them in combination with ready made beads to create your own colorful and unique jewelry. Then decorate a cardboard jewelry box.

Class is open to intermediate-level students who can confidentaly play a few songs.  Students may play electric guitar, electric bass guitar, keyboard, drums, or voice. Guitarists need to bring their own guitar, and an amp with at least a 10-watt rating.  Friday 6:30-8:30pm, Saturday 12:30-2:30pm, Sunday 1:30-3:30pm. Cost is $60.00.

Give color and words to your ideas, dreams, feelings and favorite things and throwing them together to see who you are!  We will use a sketchbook to collect creative ideas, pictures, drawings, and writing.  We'll have lots of media (pens, pencils, markers, pastels, etc.) for you to use, but you can bring anything of your own too (stickers, pictures, nail polish?).  This class is designed to get your journal started as part of your artistic journey!

In this class, you will make a short documentary film about the Garage Band Class at MSFAC. You will follow the band in setup and practice, and conduct interviews with the members of the class. We eill gather fottage, do intervies, and then edit our footage together.  Friday 6:30-8:30pm, Saturday 1:30-3:30pm, Sunday 2:30-4:30pm. Cost is $60.00

Learn the basics of documentary video production such as using found footage and doing interviews. No experience or camera necessary!

This class is for those who have taken video production classes before or have experience in production. In this class we will shoot and edit a short fiction film following the basic Hollywood system of production and editing. No camera necessary!
