Music theory is the study of how music works. It is a kind of grammar for notes and rhythms that includes the relationships between notes (intervals, scales and harmony), the function of notes in a phrase, and the overall structure of a piece. Understanding music theory helps a student read, write and perform better. Music Mind Games is a fun approach to music theory and reading for young students.
